This individual will develop, initiate and execute business plans solely based on specific targets as defined by the Alternate Site go-to-market strategy and for specific partners.</p> <p>This position is on the Commercial team and will be located remotely from home preferably in the Northeast Region. At Cepheid, we are dedicated to Improving Patient Lives.</p> <p>In this role, you will have the opportunity to:</p> <ul> <li>Be responsible for analysis and planning to ensure partner revenue goals are achieved. </li><li>Act as lead conduit for all contract negotiation and implementation for distribution business, contract management, annual partnership program management and new product launches. </li><li>Demonstrate conflict management in all situations and a high degree of financial acumen - ability to create and leverage internal and customer perspective financial analysis to achieve growth </li><li>Develop and implement market strategies for the adoption of Cepheid's testing portfolio across targeted segments and within distribution specialty sales teams. </li><li>Provide support to Distributor sales - training, marketing and educational programs </li></ul> <p>The essential requirements of the job include:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 8+ years of related work experience or Master's degree with 6 yrs. of related filed work experience or PhD 3 yrs. </li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in Distribution Sales in the Medical Device industry, or high-growth manufacturing environment. </li></ul> <p>It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:</p> <ul> <li>Both capital and reagent sales and expertise selling premium priced products and expertise with large account, multiple key partners, multi-departmental sales. </li><li>Knowledge of PCR / molecular testing. </li><li>Proactive approach to analyzing, diagnosing, and prescribing strategic business solutions to meet company sales goals. </li><li>Experience planning and driving new product launch strategies in conjunction with Product Marketing and the ability to connect with and coordinate between key customers and internal/external partners to promote and expand business opportunities. </li></ul> <p>Cepheid, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
