We are dedicated to our customers and to our employees while helping to improve the health and well-being of people around the world.</p> <p>Working as one to help many.</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY</p> <p>We are seeking a motivated entry level Mold Maker to join the team at our brand-new product development facility in Plymouth, MN. This role will provide an opportunity to learn all aspects of mold building and will provide opportunities for future growth, training, and development. This role is open to recent graduates or those currently enrolled in a machining technology program.</p> <p>The primary responsibilities of this role are to build injection molds and related tools/components which are manufactured and maintained to a high degree of quality. This is an entry level role and will work under the direction of other senior Mold Makers. The Mold Maker ensures ProMed's brand, philosophy, systems, policies, and procedures are properly implemented and observed.</p> <p>Schedule: Flexible day shift hours. Shift typically starts between 4:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. Get out early on Fridays!</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:</p> <ul> <li>Contribute to the building of production and prototype molds under supervision </li><li>Learn and take directions from senior mold makers to gain experience with all aspects of mold building, maintenance/repairs, and injection molding </li><li>Program, setup, and operate surface grinders and CNC Mills to manufacture molds </li><li>Interpret design drawings and/or CAD data </li><li>Inspect and document work complete meets quality and drawing expectations </li><li>Contribute to individual and team continuous improvement activities </li><li>Conduct routine preventative maintenance of equipment and shop as required </li><li>Observe and adhere to all safety expectations, procedures, and regulations </li><li>Ensure tool room is maintained in a clean and orderly manner daily </li><li>Other Duties as Needed: Any other duties and tasks as deemed necessary and appropriate </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATION, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE</p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
