Analyzes proposals for structural reliability, resource efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Supports daily operations and maintenance.</p> <ul> <li>Key Duties and Responsibilities </li></ul> <p>Plans, designs, and coordinates civil engineering projects</p> <ul> <li>Approves and prepares proposals for projects, estimates costs, and recommends improvements </li><li>Analyzes, evaluates, and documents project progress and implements improvements </li><li>Reviews, analyzes, and inspects proposed project plan designs and construction for quality and adherence to standards </li><li>Performs complex activities relating to the planning, designing, and direction of civil engineering projects </li><li>Creates detailed project plans, specifications, and cost-effective solutions for new construction projects, and resolves problems of a diverse scope </li><li>Provides guidance to less senior engineers </li><li>Participates in regularly scheduled team meetings </li></ul> <p>Will perform other duties as assigned</p> <p>Note: The statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees, and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties, abilities, and skills required of personnel so classified.</p> <p>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Interns and outside contractors</p> <p>FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>This position will provide input on establishing budgets, participate in tender process and review invoices and change requests</p> <p>Qualifikationen</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelors' degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Facilities Engineering or similar engineering discipline. </li><li>Minimum of 5-8 years of experience. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge and Skills</p> <ul> <li>Civil Engineering </li><li>Construction Management </li><li>Capital project management </li><li>Facilities engineering, and/or maintenance management. </li><li>Skilled in developing, writing, reviewing, and executing facility capital initiatives. </li><li>Candidate must possess excellent communication skills to provide insight and consultation across operational and project teams. </li><li>Facilities management experience. </li><li>Experience with Standard AIA Contract Documents and Construction Delivery Methods used in the United States. </li></ul>
