The MOOT is a key member of the Operations Team.</p> <p>Mission: The mission of philip's Academy Charter school of Paterson (Philip's) is, we will provide a moral and rigorous education to a diverse student body, accomplished in a hands-on, technology infused educational environment that embraces differentiated instruction and individual attention that will allow our students to attend college, while developing a commitment to global citizenship, environmental sustainability, and personal virtue.</p> <p>Reports To: Operations Leader or Managing Director of Business and Operations</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Support the operations of the school main office </li><li>Collect, organize, and review procurement documents (i.e. requisitions, quotes, and PO) with the Executives, Business Office, Office Manager and Operation Department to submit documentations for review and approval. </li><li>Track procured goods and service from order to receipt and maintain an order process that supports providing resources to school stakeholders. </li><li>Support annual fiscal audit related to procurement, food service, enrollment (preparing and organizing files) </li><li>Collect and analyze data for various local, network, state, and federal reports. (i.e. NJSmart, Attendance, Enrollment, etc..) </li><li>Support the management of information systems and school related-data </li><li>Independently and in collaboration with school-base and network, recruitment teams recruit students and coordinate recruitment processes. This includes, calling students, coordinating enrollment intake, carrying out home-visits, and coordinating orientations. </li><li>Coordinate school based events, including but not limited to back-to-school night, parent teacher conferences, Title-I information session, graduation, school trips, and other miscellaneous community events. </li><li>Supporting the collection, organization, and maintenance of student enrollment files in accordance with local policies and procedures. </li><li>Carry out other duties and tasks as assigned </li></ul> <p>Operations Support:</p> <ul> <li>Support the main office and custodial team to maintain a clean, safe environment for our students </li><li>With periodic walk-through, ensure hallways and other public spaces reflect the school's culture, brand, and mission </li><li>Work with facility coordinator and Office Manager to manage the school's maintenance needs </li><li>Support Arrival, Dismissal, and student logistic procedures </li><li>Supports the MDBO, Office Manager, and Procurement Special to procurement necessary non-instruction materials, supplies, and services. </li><li>Support the coordination of school event implementation and planning, lead when necessary or requested. </li></ul> <p>Information Systems and Technology</p> <ul> <li>Ensure students and staff have access to needed technology </li><li>Work with Network Technicians and IS/IT Support to maintain school building technology </li><li>Manage copy machine maintenance and supply orders with the support of the Main Office </li><li>Support the coordination of student testing (Information Systems and Technology) </li><li>Provided Information Systems or Information Technology Training to new and existing staff </li><li>Recommend new technology to drive student achievement </li></ul> <p>Mental/Physical Demands</p> <ul> <li>Requires the ability to maintain emotional control under stress </li><li>Requires lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling up to 30 lbs. and other routine physical activities </li><li>Ability to hear and see (with correction) at levels to ensure accurate job performance </li><li>Ability to stand, walk and sit-occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl </li><li>Ability to maintain a professional appearance </li></ul> <p>Qualifications and Personal Characteristics</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required, Master Degree preferred </li><li>Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; </li><li>Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Google Applications, Access, etc…; </li><li>Displays maturity and ability to work independently; </li><li>Communicates well with others and demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with students, parents, colleagues and community members; </li><li>Enjoys working with children of all ages; </li><li>Detailed-oriented, strong follow-through skills; </li><li>Strong time management skills; ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines;
