<p>Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Hartford, CT. This position requires advanced integration architecture expertise to deliver complex, large-scale enterprise integrations.</p> <p>Rate Range: $56/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.</p> <p>Engineer job responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Architect and deliver large-scale integration solutions using IIB/ACE, IBM MQ, and advanced message-flow components.</p> </li><li> <p>Design enterprise-grade REST/JSON APIs with strong focus on lifecycle management, backward compatibility, and performance optimization.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop Spring Boot microservices to support synchronous, asynchronous, and event-driven integration patterns.</p> </li><li> <p>Implement cloud-native integration components across Azure and GCP platforms, leveraging PaaS services, containers, and Kubernetes (AKS/GKE).</p> </li><li> <p>Enhance system reliability through robust error-handling frameworks, ESQL/Java Compute logic, and performance tuning.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee CI/CD execution and ensure secure, standards-compliant communication using HTTPS, TLS, JWT, and related protocols.</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline is required.</p> </li><li> <p>Brings 10+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years focused on integration architecture and engineering.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrates deep expertise in IIB/ACE, IBM MQ, message-flow development, and enterprise API design.</p> </li><li> <p>Possesses proven capability in building Spring Boot microservices and implementing cloud-native solutions on Azure or GCP.</p> </li></ul> <p>If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
