<p>What to Expect</p> <p>As a Construction Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the execution of various self-perform construction projects. You will lead our internal Tesla Construction team and collaborate cross-functionally with base build, construction engineering, and manufacturing engineering departments to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Lead a team comprising Project Coordinators, Buyers, Superintendents, and craft personnel </li><li>Foster a culture focused on safety and quality across projects and throughout the company </li><li>Conduct constructability reviews of design packages </li><li>Maintain a proactive, can-do attitude to align stakeholders with project goals </li><li>Identify project risks and opportunities, actively managing them throughout the project lifecycle </li><li>Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance and Quality Control requirements </li><li>Interface with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and commissioning teams </li></ul> <p>What You'll Bring</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience </li><li>Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical, mechanical, or civil/structural/architectural fields, including 5 years as a Project Manager </li><li>Previous experience managing projects valued at $25M or more </li><li>Proficiency in material take offs and estimating from construction drawings </li><li>Ability to read, interpret, and manage changes to construction drawings </li><li>Strong skills in Construction baseline development, change control, cost/schedule performance, and variance analysis </li><li>Ability to travel to various project locations as needed (up to 50%), often on short notice </li></ul> <p>Tesla is an Equal Opportunity employer.
