Buffett, acquired Precision Castparts Corp.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>2nd shift FPI Inspector Level 2</p> <p>Title: FPI Inspector - Level II Reader</p> <p>Status: Hourly</p> <p>Shift: 2nd, 2p - 10p</p> <p>Reporting Relationship: Reports directly to Finishing Area Manager</p> <p>Location: Mentor / RP, OH</p> <p>Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and may be substituted by experience. Must possess basic computer skills.</p> <p>Personal Characteristics: Able to meet deadlines and be accountable for quality/ quantity. Able to work flexible hours with a history of dependability as demonstrated with strong attendance record. Comfortable using a team approach to problem solving. Have strong sense of urgency. Individual must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, co-workers and supervisors.</p> <p>Work Experience: Must have current (preferred) or previous FPI Level II certification and must document a completed organized training course per NAS-410. Experience applicable to the inspection of turbine components</p> <p>Principal Area of Responsibility: The FPI, Level II will perform fluorescent penetrant inspections on investment casting and will be required to interpret, evaluate and disposition the results in accordance with customer specification.</p> <p>Specific Duties:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Incumbent must handle hazardous waste in accordance with the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and company policy.</p> </li><li> <p>Be capable of providing the necessary guidance to trainees and Level I personnel.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, co-workers and supervisors.</p> </li><li> <p>Have thorough familiarity with the scope and limitations of the method and shall have the ability to</p> </li></ul>
