<p>Kforce has a client in Madison, WI that is seeking a Release/Environment Manager.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Communicate implementation plans, status, and issues to several stakeholders </li><li>Contribute to implementation plan (including contact lists, communication plan, back out strategy, and Production verification) and review with project teams and stakeholders </li><li>Act as central point of contact for specified environments within product releases </li><li>Work with product and platform teams for requirement review, setup and configuration of pre prod environments </li><li>Influence parallel development strategies including branching, merging, and version management </li><li>Identifies areas of risk and conflict within and across multiple releases and work with project teams to mitigate these issues* 3-5 years of Java Development experience </li><li>2+ years of experience in Object Oriented development </li><li>1+ years of Kubernetes cluster management and Docker experience </li><li>1+ years of experience support Java applications </li><li>1+ years of experience work with Application Integration </li><li>1+ years of experience in developing and consuming Web Services </li><li>1+ years of experience with AWS application </li><li>Ability to understand architecture and integrations with Java based SOA </li><li>Strong relationship building skills </li><li>Basic understanding of Build/Deployment process knowledge in Java applications </li><li>Strong communication Skills </li><li>Change Management process knowledge and tool experience (e.g. Service Now) </li></ul> <p>Desired Skills:</p> <ul> <li>SQL </li><li>Java J2EE development skills preferred </li><li>Spring STRUTS integration </li><li>Spring JDBC </li><li>Object Oriented Support </li><li>J-Unit </li><li>IDE </li><li>Agile </li><li>Git </li><li>Gitlab </li></ul>
