<p>Position Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician</p> <p>Position Reports to: Assistant Director of Facilities</p> <p>Employee Category: Full-Time, Year-Round, Benefit Eligible - Includes Uniform & Meals</p> <p>Schedule: 7AM-3PM, 5 days per week</p> <p>FLSA Category: Non-exempt, hourly rate range $36.00 to $40.00 /hr.</p> <p>The Country Club is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist with the maintenance, repair, and improvement of various Club facility mechanical equipment under the direction of the Assistant Director of Facilities. The Maintenance Technician will be an essential member of the Facilities Team, which maintains approximately 225,000 ft2 within a campus setting of 8+ buildings.</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for oversight of mechanical systems, ventilation systems, non-refrigerant components of HVAC systems, plumbing systems, commercial kitchen equipment and miscellaneous electrical related items. </li><li>Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform repairs to resolve issues in a timely, organized and cost-efficient means. </li><li>Prioritize tasks to provide the highest level of quality for cost effective maintenance and repair and upkeep of Club facilities. </li><li>Assist with maintenance, troubleshooting and routine repairs of other building equipment as required. </li><li>Assist with maintaining energy management system for the property's HVAC systems. </li><li>Perform daily maintenance requirements include planning and scheduling. </li><li>Assist Facilities Team in developing short- and long-term requirements for repair, maintenance, and capital replacement. </li><li>Respond to all emergency requests in a timely manner. </li><li>Complete other appropriate tasks assigned by the Assistant Director of Facilities. </li></ul> <p>Required Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 3 years' experience maintaining building mechanical systems. </li><li>Detail-oriented and work effectively in an operating business environment. </li><li>Ability to work independently and productively with minimum supervision. </li><li>Ability to prioritize, organize and follow through on daily assignments and responsibilities. </li><li>Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work well with all staff, vendors and contractors. </li><li>Demonstrate the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform required job elements at a high standard. </li><li>Valid Massachusetts Driver's License. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work, stand, and walk on your feet for an 8-hour period </li><li>Ability to regularly lift, push, and/or pull 50-lbs </li><li>Ability to climb ladders regularly and to heights of 30-feet, work on roofs with proper safety equipment, operate a 45-foot boom lift after training. </li><li>Ability to climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, twist, reach and perform repetitive motions for up to 8 hours. </li><li>Ability to work outside during all types of temperatures and weather conditions. </li></ul>
