<p>Position Summary</p> <p>The P&F End Finisher supports finishing operations for manufactured products. This role involves assisting with various production processes, material handling, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assist in finishing operations, including:</p> </li><li> <p>Painting and paint stenciling</p> </li><li> <p>Hydrostatic testing</p> </li><li> <p>Phosphating</p> </li><li> <p>Drifting and honing</p> </li><li> <p>General housekeeping duties</p> </li><li> <p>Operate forklifts to:</p> </li><li> <p>Move materials throughout the facility</p> </li><li> <p>Load and unload material onto racks</p> </li><li> <p>Learn and maintain product traceability processes</p> </li><li> <p>Follow all safety procedures and protocols</p> </li><li> <p>Perform additional duties as assigned</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in the team's on-call schedule for weekends and overtime</p> </li></ul> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>Entry-level position </li><li>No prior experience required </li><li>Experience working in shop environment preferred </li></ul> <p>Working Environment</p> <ul> <li>Work performed in both indoor shop and outdoor yard settings within an industrial facility </li><li>Exposure to heavy machinery, moving equipment, and moderate to high noise levels </li><li>Shop conditions may include heat, dust, oil, and industrial odors </li><li>Yard work involves exposure to varying weather conditions (heat, rain, cold, humidity) </li><li>Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting </li><li>Operation of forklifts and material-handling equipment </li><li>Mandatory use of PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, gloves, hearing protection) </li><li>Must follow all safety procedures and remain alert to surroundings at all times </li></ul> <p>Reports to: P&F End Finishing Lead</p> <p>Language and Safety Requirement</p> <p>Due to the operation of heavy machinery and handling of hazardous materials, employees must demonstrate professional working proficiency in English, including the ability to:</p> <ul> <li>Read and understand chemical Safety Data Sheets (SDS) </li><li>Follow verbal instructions during safety training and drills </li><li>Communicate clearly and effectively in emergency situations </li></ul>
