This role is an advocate and the voice for Miele UX copy, it involves creating copy for user interfaces, customer facing copy for onsite user flows, error messages, help articles, and other customer-facing content.</p> <p>Your responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Initiate & leverage user research to understand our customers' needs and preferences. </li><li>Through a defined UX content vision, write clear, concise, and engaging copy for user interfaces, product descriptions, and help articles that uses a cohesive language and a unified voice across products and platforms. Leverage empathy, logic and hard data to inform content choices. </li><li>Establish best practices and UX copy strategy to ensure cohesive product narratives. </li><li>Provide content recommendations that include the right words and complementary data. </li><li>Regularly review and update existing copy to ensure it remains relevant and effective. </li><li>Follow and contribute to the development of our brand voice and style guide. </li><li>Collaborate with Language Specialists to translate your ideas to a local audience, backed up with sufficient context (conceptual and visual). </li><li>Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, legal, marketing and engineers to ensure copy fits seamlessly into the overall user experience. </li><li>Provide direction, and mentorship to other writers and educate cross-functional partners on the role of UX writing and content strategy throughout the product development process. </li></ul> <p>Your profile:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field. Degree in UX design, Human-Computer Interaction is a plus. </li><li>Minimum 5 years in copywriting or a related field. </li><li>A portfolio of work that demonstrates writing skills and ability to create user-centric copy. </li><li>Familiarity with digital trends and the eCommerce landscape. Experience in eCommerce is a plus. </li><li>Strong communicator with a keen attention to detail. </li><li>Proven ability to conduct user research, analyze data, and apply insights to copywriting. </li><li>Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. </li><li>Native English speaker, working proficiency in German is a plus. </li></ul> <p>Start:</p> <p>2025-09-30</p>
