<p>Looking for an experienced and highly skilled Business Process Improvement (BPI) Manager for the Index team. You will be responsible for collaborating across all Index business teams and key business partners, to create, optimize, and/or restructure operational business processes that will drive successful outcomes for both internal and external stakeholders across key business programs and initiatives.</p> <p>The person in this role will triage and solve complex business process problems and gaps - that may or may not leverage Technology solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders to define the current and future state, present recommendations that drive operational effectiveness and measure outcomes.</p> <p>This person will leverage the BPI framework and methodologies, such as Six Sigma, to continuously improve the performance of operational processes within the Index organization while maintaining comprehensive documentation of current state mapping and future state designs. You will utilize data analysis tools and techniques to measure performance and ensure successful implementation of change. You will identify bottlenecks, friction, inefficiencies and other problems - within the process itself - and take corrective actions to enable the following outcomes:</p> <ul> <li>Reduce costs and waste. </li><li>Increase efficiency and productivity. </li><li>Improve quality and stakeholder/client satisfaction. </li><li>Eliminate redundant efforts. </li><li>Ensure continued adherence to workflows and better compliance with rules and regulations. </li><li>Improve quality of products or services. </li><li>Reduce errors. </li><li>Improve speed to market. </li><li>Mitigate risk. </li></ul> <p>You will also use Lean Six Sigma tools such as: Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, statistical methods, data analysis, and frameworks (such as DMAIC) to define areas for improvement across processes and eliminate waste.</p> <p>Skills Needed:</p> <ul> <li>Exceptional business process improvement skill set with the ability to think 'out of the box' to bring optimization, innovation, and usability elements to Index business operational work. </li><li>Strong leadership skills in navigating across all levels of the Index organization to successfully achieve outcomes. </li><li>Ability to make calculated trade-offs and execute process improvements quickly without compromising quality or user experience. </li><li>Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to elicit business stakeholder feedback and articulate process design decisions to influence stakeholders and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. </li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and experience conducting usability research to gather feedback and insights that inform process design decisions. </li><li>Ability to work through ambiguous situations and make recommendations on process improvement. </li><li>Demonstrated success and experience driving complex process design issues to resolution within changing environments. </li><li>Ability to establish/grow positive working relationships with fellow team members, senior leadership, and supporting groups. </li><li>Detail oriented in order to analyze and see patterns in process data and information to create informed solutions. </li><li>Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to juggle multiple projects/priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative working environment with a focus on delivering results. </li></ul> <p>Education, Certification and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>At least 12+ years of professional experience in business process design, operations, analytical thinking, product design or a related field. </li><li>Lean Six Sigma certification. </li><li>College Degree in related field. </li><li>High level of proficiency in a process design tool such as Figma or Visio, to document process steps (current and future state). </li><li>Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Tableau. </li><li>High level of proficiency in PowerPoint for presenting solutions to business stakeholders and senior management. </li><li>Knowledge and application of industry best practices. </li></ul> <p>This position will be located in Philadelphia, and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment (at least 3 days a week in office, subject to change), providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.</p> <p>Come as You Are</p> <p>Nasdaq is an equal opportunity employer.
