For more information contact the Human Resources Recruitment office at 361-826-3300 to obtain Form SSA-1945 Windfall Elimination Provision.</p> <p>Grade: 106</p> <p>Salary: $10.51 Hourly</p> <p>Department: Finance - Warehouse</p> <p>Status: Temporary / Full Time</p> <p>E-mail: MelissaM2@cctexas.com</p> <p>ATTENDANCE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION ARE AS FOLLOWS:Non-rotating 40-hour work week, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Must be available to work additional hours as needed.</p> <p>Who May Apply?</p> <p>All persons legally authorized to work in the United States</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Accurately issue, exchange and return for credit and locate items for issue with City warehouse and two exterior pipe yards.</p> <ul> <li>Receive merchandise. </li><li>Properly receive shipments and count items for accuracy and verify with purchase order. </li><li>Ensure warehouse shelves and pipe yards are properly stocked with receiving merchandise. </li><li>Use warehouse personal computer to access Infor ERP for warehouse requisitions and aid in stock replenishment. </li><li>Deliver requested items per requisition and stage items to using departments. </li><li>Maintain interior/exterior of warehouse and pipe yard including landscaping and custodial duties. </li><li>Conduct monthly count of certain high dollar items picked by Stores Supervisor. </li><li>Assist with year-end fiscal count of all warehouse items. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Requires a High School Diploma or GED </li><li>Minimum of six (6) months to one (1) year of experience </li><li>Forklift certification required within 6 months of hire </li><li>A valid driver's license is required. Successful out of state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire </li></ul> <p>Closing Statement</p> <ul> <li>Selected applicants must be able to pass a background investigation and a pre-employment drug test. </li><li>Any position that lists a minimum qualification for education level and/or license/certification will require the applicant to provide proof of documentation if selected for hire into the position with the City of Corpus Christi. </li><li>In the event of an emergency, employees are required to work to provide for the safety and well-being of the public, including the delivery and restoration of vital services. </li></ul> <p>Job opening will close on:</p> <p>January 7, 2021</p>
