<p>The Graduate Assistant for Network Services is accountable for the supervision and maintenance of the Cloud lab and all related technology needs.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Responsible to model the University Mission through dedicated job performance, service excellence to constituencies, respectful collaboration, and active support of the University's Mission in Catholic and Lasallian higher education.</p> <ul> <li>Assist Network Administrators with server network and operating system maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting for the Cloud Lab. </li><li>Assist in troubleshooting and providing resolutions to network and data connectivity issues. Completion of these tasks will take place in a timely manner under the supervision of a Network Administrator. </li><li>Assist in setup and installation of network data communication equipment and verification of user connectivity for the Cloud Lab. </li><li>Assist in all documentation and labeling of network equipment and cable plants for the Cloud Lab. </li><li>Assist with identifying and resolving client University wireless network access issues. </li><li>Able to lift 40lbs as occasional equipment installs/moves may be required (UPS, Server Rack equipment). </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Bachelor's degree required and must be enrolled and maintain academic excellence in one of Lewis University's graduate programs. Must possess computer expertise, a knowledge of VMware, Windows Server 2008R2 and 2012, Windows 7 and 10, as well as strong communication and organizational skills. Must also be punctual.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications Essential Duties Work hours</p> <p>Part-time; minimum of 20 hours per week</p>
