<p>Position Type:</p> <p>Miscellaneous</p> <p>Date Posted:</p> <p>5/2/2025</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Districtwide</p> <p>Date Available:</p> <p>TBD</p> <p>Closing Date:</p> <p>05/07/2025</p> <p>&nbsp&nbspAdditional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>Food Service & Mail Driver</p> <p>M-F 6:45am-12:15pm</p> <p>Reports to: Food Service Director</p> <p>Location: Naugatuck High School</p> <p>Strategic Alignment: Priority 3 - Create a safe, welcoming and respectful environment throughout the district and in every school that supports the continuous improvement of teaching and learning.</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for food and mail distribution to each school within the district.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for food distribution to schools within the district. </li><li>Redistributes food supplies to each school from central storage facilities as needed. </li><li>Moves inventory as required and maintains an inventory of government supplied food both frozen and dray canned. </li><li>Retrieve daily receipts/monies from each school and deposit in bank. </li><li>Deliver and retrieve government food to and from other districts as directed. </li><li>Delivery of internal mail to and from each school, Central Office and Town Hall in a timely manner. </li><li>Deliver monthly (or as needed) Board of Education packets as directed. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid Connecticut driver's license is required. </li><li>Ability to lift in excess of 50lbs is essential. </li><li>Ability to work independently with frequent interruptions and change in priorities. </li><li>Ability to represent the BOE and District in professional manner when dealing with the public. </li></ul>
