To learn more about Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Buckeye State Tree Nursery please visit Buckeye State Tree Nursery | Ohio Department of Natural Resources.</p> <p>What you will do...</p> <ul> <li> <p>Propagates and cultivates native tree species, including water management, fertility management, transplanting, integrated pest management, and maintaining high-quality containerized seedlings</p> </li><li> <p>Operates specialized horticulture machinery to support the production line</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures all planting processes follow proper guidelines</p> </li><li> <p>Collects and analyzes data for seed collection and processing</p> </li><li> <p>Provides advice and information on horticultural matters and researches additional needs as necessary</p> </li><li> <p>Assists the Horticulturalist 2 at the Buckeye State Tree Nursery in all horticulture activities</p> </li><li> <p>Starting hourly pay of $21.93/hr. with multiple pay increases over your first 5.5 years of service, with an end salary of $25.77/hr.</p> </li><li> <p>There may also be cost of living adjustments (COLA) applied.
