<p>Job Summary</p> <p>Develops the clinical and operational strategy of assigned business units. Supervises and coordinates multiple activities, including: statistical, performance and managerial reporting, decision and budget support, billing, supply chain, and capital planning and execution.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assists with developing specific department goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization. </li><li>Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. </li><li>Performs and oversees scheduling, recruitment, and payroll. </li><li>Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations. </li><li>Resolves customer complaints or answer customers' questions regarding policies and procedures. </li><li>Determines and justifies needs for systems, equipment, supply purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies. </li><li>Administers and responds to customer surveys and oversee/initiate customer service improvement plans and programs as required. </li><li>Recruits, interviews, and selects team members with a high level of engagement. </li><li>Interprets and communicates work procedures and company policies to staff. </li><li>Trains or instructs team members in job duties or company policies or arrange for training to be provided. </li><li>Coordinates activities with other supervisory personnel or with other work units or departments. </li><li>Makes recommendations to management concerning issues such as staffing decisions, scheduling improvements, and financial/budget adjustments </li><li>Consults with managers or other personnel to resolve problems in areas such as output quality, performance improvement or work schedules </li><li>Designs, implements, and evaluates staff training and development programs, customer service initiatives, or performance measurement criteria </li><li>Participates in patient satisfaction initiatives. </li><li>Assures customer service standards are maintained. </li><li>Coordinates with the Manager of Outreach Support for outside locations and clients. </li><li>Responsible for the maintenance growth of Owensboro Health Client relationships. </li><li>Demonstrates commitment to cost effectiveness and sound business practices. </li><li>Presents information to including all audiences from team members to executives as directed. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration required upon hire OR </li><li>Bachelor's degree or higher in Healthcare Administration required upon hire OR </li><li>Bachelor's degree or higher in related field required upon hire </li><li>A minimum of 2 years' relevant experience required </li><li>No licensure/certification/registration required required upon hire </li></ul> <p>Skills and Attributes</p> <ul> <li>Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment. </li><li>Works under minimal supervision. </li><li>Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands</p> <ul> <li>Standing: Occasionally </li><li>Walking: Occasionally </li><li>Sitting: Frequently </li><li>Lifting 0-25 lbs: Rarely </li><li>Lifting 25-75 lbs: Never </li><li>Lifting over 75 lbs: Never </li><li>Carrying 0-25 lbs: Rarely </li><li>Carrying 25-75 lbs: Never </li><li>Carrying over 75 lbs: Never </li><li>Pushing/Pulling 0-25 lbs: Rarely </li><li>Pushing/Pulling 25-75 lbs: Never </li><li>Pushing/Pulling over 75 lbs: Never </li><li>Climbing: Rarely </li><li>Bending/Stooping: Rarely </li><li>Kneeling: Rarely </li><li>Crouching/Crawling: Rarely </li><li>Reaching: Occasionally </li><li>Talking: Frequently </li><li>Hearing: Occasionally </li><li>Repetitive Foot/Leg Movements: Never </li><li>Repetitive Hand/Arm Movements: Frequently </li><li>Keyboard Data Entry: Frequently </li><li>Running: Never </li><li>Vision: Depth Perception: Frequently </li><li>Vision: Distinguish Color: Frequently </li><li>Vision: Seeing Far: Frequently </li><li>Vision: Seeing Near: Frequently </li></ul> <p>Owensboro Health Core Commitments</p> <p>INTEGRITY -
