Includes employee benefits package.</p> <p>HOURS</p> <p>Full time position, 12 months, 260 days</p> <p>Contract Unit: This position is part of the Unit II bargaining unit for Administrators and Supervisors.</p> <p>FLSA: Exempt</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Master's degree in Social Work.</p> <p>Possession of licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C).</p> <p>Eligibility for Maryland teaching certificate/license with Administrator I endorsement.</p> <p>Minimum 3 years of experience working with children/youth.</p> <p>Minimum 2 years of experience providing clinical supervision and/or management of mental health professionals.</p> <p>Demonstrated success in supervisory or leadership activities.</p> <p>Knowledge of federal and state laws regulating mental health.</p> <p>Knowledge of WCPS policies, mission, vision, goals, and programs.</p> <p>Knowledge of Maryland's Blueprint and its implications for student supports.</p> <p>Demonstrated ability to create and maintain partnership with multiple agencies.</p> <p>Ability to work independently and to work as a member of a leadership team.</p> <p>Positive and effective communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents, colleagues, and community members.</p> <p>Ability to prepare, monitor and analyze budgetary provisions.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Oversees clinical and administrative day-to-day operations in areas of school social work, including direct administrative and clinical supervision of all school social workers.</p> <p>Identifies areas of focus for, plans, and provides professional development opportunities, essential learning reinforcements for school social workers.</p> <p>Manages tracking of licensure, privileging and credentialing as required by Maryland Department of Health and WCPS Unit I contract agreement.</p> <p>Ensures compliance with all regulations and standards of COMAR, Medicaid, ADAA, MD Department of Health, IDEA, CARF and implementation of evidence based practices.</p> <p>Works in collaboration with the Mental Health Coordinator on documentation of mental health program outcomes and student data reviews in order to ensure quality mental health services.</p> <p>Assists with the management of local agency and private provider contracts with WCPS.</p> <p>Reviews and develops recommendations for policy, protocols and procedures in compliance with federal, state and local regulations.</p> <p>Expands services, develop new services identified through on-going needs assessments in order to meet the unique needs of the students, families and staff of WCPS.</p> <p>Establishes and maintains relationships with outside agencies and local universities and represent WCPS on external committees as assigned.</p> <p>Collaborates with school administrators to identify and meet the needs of the students with regard to social work in the school setting.</p> <p>Completes observations and evaluations of staff assigned as per the WCPS Negotiated Agreement for Unit I employees.</p> <p>Provides clinical supervision to graduate licensed staff and interns placed in WCPS.</p> <p>Completes required monthly, quarterly and annual reports.</p> <p>Performs other duties as assigned by Director of School Climate and Safety as well as by Assistant Superintendent of Student and Family Services.</p>
