<p>Position: Girls Varsity Volleyball Head Coach</p> <p>Reports to: Athletic Director</p> <p>About Traders Point Christian Schools:</p> <ul> <li>IHSAA Member </li><li>Grades 5-8 compete in the IISL </li><li>Christ-centered mission focused on academic excellence, discipleship, and competitive athletics </li></ul> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>Traders Point Christian Schools is seeking a highly motivated, knowledgeable, and spiritually grounded Girls Varsity Volleyball Head Coach.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, deep volleyball expertise, and the ability to mentor and develop student-athletes in a Christ-centered environment.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Previous volleyball coaching and/or playing experience required </li><li>Preferred high school or collegiate coaching experience </li><li>Strong leadership and communication skills </li><li>Great recruiter/retention skills for your program </li><li>Great fundraising skills </li><li>Ability to motivate and disciple student-athletes </li><li>Agreement with TPCS Athletic Purpose Statement, which reads: Traders Point Christian Schools is committed to developing and maintaining an athletic program that is Christ-centered, comprehensive, and competitive, and allows each athlete a unique venue to be a witness for Christ by using his or her God-given talent to move and play. </li><li>Must pass a background check </li><li>Must provide proof, or be willing to take CPR training </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee and encourage the spiritual development of student-athletes </li><li>Lead the full volleyball program culture and expectations </li><li>Proactively communicating with parents and staff in regard to schedules, etc. </li><li>Organizing initial team meetings and establishing team rules, procedures, and policies in writing as approved by the Athletic Director. </li><li>Develop practice plans, game strategies, and conditioning </li><li>Manage and support JV/MS coaching staff </li><li>Will to run successful summer camps </li><li>Communicating with parents, AD, and staff is essential </li><li>Ensure academic and behavioral eligibility </li><li>Supervise athletes during all phases of activity </li><li>Supervising athletes until the last student leaves that contest/practice </li><li>Reports all game results to staff before 8 am the next day of the contest's finish. </li><li>Attend required trainings and meetings </li><li>Develop a system to annually evaluate your coaching staff </li><li>Manage inventory, uniforms, and facilities </li><li>Submit rosters, schedules, results, and season-end reports </li><li>Oversee fundraising and community engagement </li><li>Follow inventory check-in & check-out policies with uniforms </li><li>Plan team banquet and awards </li><li>Other duties assigned by the Athletic Director </li></ul> <p>This position is:</p> <ul> <li>1099 contractor </li><li>Paid by stipend </li><li>For the Fall 2026 athletic season </li></ul>
