<p>Position Summary...</p> <p>This is a unique, high-visibility role for someone who excels at executive storytelling, synthesizing complexity, and driving accountability across teams. As the bridge between LMD and Walmart leadership, you'll shape how our work is represented in the most critical forums and ensure the organization is aligned behind the right actions. If you're organized, persuasive, and love making order out of ambiguity, this role will give you unmatched exposure and influence.</p> <p>What you'll do...</p> <p>The Strategy & Mechanisms team is responsible for setting the strategic direction and building the internal operating model that enables Walmart's Last Mile Delivery organization to execute with clarity, speed, and impact. The team drives cross-functional alignment, prioritization, and performance management, while ensuring that executive communication, decision-making forums, and change initiatives are structured and effective. This work is critical to translating high-level vision into day-to-day action across a complex, fast-moving business. Success on this team requires strong strategic thinking, systems-level problem solving, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to influence without authority in ambiguous, high-stakes environments.</p> <p>What you'll do:</p> <ul> <li>Own and evolve the LMD operating model, including meetings, business reviews, and decision-making forums. </li><li>Lead process improvement initiatives and support large-scale change management. </li><li>Manage a team focused on LMD mechanisms, PMO, and process excellence. </li><li>Roll out new initiatives with minimal disruption, using feedback loops and strong organizational empathy. </li></ul> <p>What you'll bring:</p> <ul> <li>8+ years in program management, operations strategy, or organizational design. </li><li>Expertise in structuring operating models, governance forums, and meeting cadences. </li><li>Strong change management and communication skills. </li><li>Ability to influence and lead without direct authority; adaptable and systems-oriented thinker. </li></ul> <p>At Walmart, we offer competitive pay as well as performance-based bonus awards and other great benefits for a happier mind, body, and wallet.
