<p>Open to candidates who are permanent in the civil service title of Administrative Procurement Analyst II (Non-Managerial) or the comparable civil service titles of Health Services Manager II (Non-Managerial) or Administrative Contract Specialist II (Non-Managerial) and Administrative Staff Analyst II (Non-Managerial). Due to active promotional list for Administrative Staff Analyst, only permanent DOHMH candidates can be considered.</p> <p>The Division of Disease Control's mission is to safeguard the health of New Yorkers through identification, surveillance, treatment, control, and prevention of infectious diseases, which is achieved through varied and interrelated endeavors of its seven Bureaus. The Bureau of Public Health Clinics (BPHC) mission is to promote a healthy community by providing New Yorkers with the resources needed to make informed and empowered health decisions; identify and treat tuberculosis and provide immunization and sexual health services regardless of ability to pay or immigration status. BPHC provides direct clinic services to people seeking health care; monitors disease trends; provides education and training to service providers and community groups; conducts research; and develops policies and programs to deliver high quality clinical care which best serve New Yorkers The BPHC_STI is requesting to hire an Administrative Procurement Analyst, 2 NM/ Senior Director of Budget, Grants, & Procurement to work with the Bureau's Director of Administration. This individual will be responsible for monitoring the Bureau's Budget, Grant and Procurement activities.</p> <p>DUTIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:</p> <p>Reporting to the Director of Administration and serve on the bureau's senior leadership.</p> <p>Managing and overseeing all fiscal mater for the bureau including the development and monitoring of all operating budgets from federal state and city funding sources</p> <p>Responsible for reporting of the budget and Liaise with OBA, Finance, ACCO, etc.</p> <p>Managing and overseeing the bureaus procurement and contracting operations including the purchasing of supplies equipment, medication and consultant contracts</p> <p>Overseeing payment of bureau contracts, and purchase orders and liquidation of funds</p> <p>Attending meetings and/or represent BPHC with OBA, ACCO, Internal Accounting, and vendors.</p> <p>Performing other ad-hoc assignments, as requested by the Director of Administration.</p> <p>Why you should work for us:</p> <ul> <li>Loan Forgiveness: As a prospective employee of the City of New York, you may be eligible for federal/state loan forgiveness and repayment assistance programs that lessen your payments or even fully forgive your full balance.
