<p>Description</p> <p>Now Hiring- Join our Team!</p> <p>Maintenance Technician II</p> <p>Louisville, KY</p> <p>1st Shift: $22-$26/hr. (DOE) + OT (1.5x after 40 hrs.)</p> <p>2nd/3rd Shift: $22-$28/hr. (DOE, includes shift differential) + OT</p> <p>8-Hour Shifts | Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire</p> <p>What This Job Is Really About</p> <p>If you're the type who can walk up to a machine, figure out what's wrong, and fix it, you'll do well here.</p> <p>This is a hands-on role working on both mechanical and electrical systems, keeping production equipment running and jumping in when things go down.</p> <p>What Your Day May Look Like</p> <ul> <li>Start your shift with a safety meeting </li><li>Review work orders and prioritize repairs </li><li>Inspect equipment and troubleshoot issues on the floor </li><li>Repair motors, wiring, or mechanical components to get machines back up </li><li>Perform preventive maintenance before breakdowns happen </li><li>Test systems using multimeters and diagnostic tools </li><li>Work with other techs on larger or recurring issues </li><li>Log repairs and updates in CMMS before shift end </li></ul> <p>What You'll Be Working On</p> <ul> <li>Packaging lines, conveyors, and processing equipment </li><li>Motors, pumps, compressors, and drive systems </li><li>Electrical systems: wiring, panels, switchgear, transformers </li><li>HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, and air handlers </li><li>Hydraulic and pneumatic systems </li><li>Facility systems (lighting, plumbing, walls, floors, etc.) </li></ul> <p>Tools & Equipment:</p> <ul> <li>Multimeters and electrical testing tools </li><li>Hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment </li><li>Precision measuring tools </li><li>CMMS systems for tracking work orders </li><li>Blueprints, schematics, and repair manuals </li></ul> <p>What You'll Be Doing</p> <ul> <li>Troubleshoot, repair, and replace mechanical and electrical components </li><li>Install and repair wiring, motors, and control systems </li><li>Perform preventive maintenance (lubrication, inspections, filter changes) </li><li>Inspect drives, belts, motors, and fluid levels using checklists </li><li>Dismantle equipment to access and replace defective parts </li><li>Fabricate or modify parts using tools and specifications </li><li>Test machinery to diagnose malfunctions and verify repairs </li><li>Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, parts used, and repairs </li><li>Assist with inventory tracking for parts and supplies </li><li>Support equipment installs and system upgrades </li><li>Follow all safety standards (LOTO, OSHA, etc.) </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Skills Desired</p> <ul> <li>3-5+ years of maintenance experience (industrial preferred) </li><li>Strong troubleshooting skills (mechanical + electrical) </li><li>Experience working with motors, controls, and production equipment </li><li>Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals </li><li>Experience using diagnostic tools (multimeters, etc.) </li><li>Familiarity with CMMS systems </li></ul> <p>Bonus If You Have</p> <ul> <li>PLC or controls experience </li><li>Welding or machining experience </li><li>Maintenance certifications or an apprenticeship background </li><li>Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <ul> <li>Active industrial setting (lifting, climbing, working on your feet) </li><li>Ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights or on ladders/scaffolding </li><li>Flexibility for overtime, weekends, or shift changes </li></ul> <p>Why This Role Is Worth It</p> <ul> <li>Competitive pay + overtime at 1.5x </li><li>Opportunity for temp-to-hire + long-term growth </li><li>Hands-on work where your skills actually matter </li><li>Exposure to a wide range of industrial systems and equipment </li></ul> <p>Apply Today</p> <p>If you're a solid maintenance tech who can troubleshoot, fix, and keep things running-we want to hear from you.</p>
