<p>Lead Behind the Scenes</p> <p>Join Pitt Community College, a mission-driven institution committed to educating and empowering people for success.</p> <p>We are seeking a highly skilled and discreet Executive Assistant to the President who will serve as a trusted partner in supporting the President's leadership of the college. This is more than a support role-it's an opportunity to help shape the college's success by managing high-level communications, strategy, and operations with precision and professionalism.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Serve as the President's primary point of contact for scheduling, correspondence, and project coordination. </li><li>Maintain a strategic, efficient, and protective calendar, ensuring appropriate pacing and preparation time. </li><li>Draft and edit professional correspondence, memos, emails, talking points, and presentations. </li><li>Prepare the President for meetings, media interviews, and public engagements by providing briefings and materials. </li><li>Manage Board of Trustees logistics, including meetings, travel, documentation, and correspondence. </li><li>Safeguard confidential information and ensure all communications align with the President's voice and vision. </li><li>Track and coordinate progress reports on institutional projects and initiatives led by the President's Office. </li><li>Manage the President's Office budget, purchase orders, and vendor coordination. </li><li>Support the President with technology and presentation delivery in the office and Board room. </li><li>Help facilitate the President's acclimation to internal teams and external partners. </li><li>Maintain a broad understanding of college operations to triage inquiries and guide visitors appropriately. </li></ul> <p> </p> <p>Why Join PCC?</p> <ul> <li>Commitment to empowering students, supporting faculty and staff, and transforming communities. </li><li>Whether coordinating a Board of Trustees meeting, refining a high-profile presentation, or preparing the President for a critical conversation, your work will always be purposeful and people-centered. </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Communications, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. </li><li>At least 3 years of experience in a high-level administrative support role, preferably in higher education or a professional setting. </li><li>Experience with budget management and board logistics preferred </li><li>Mastery of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with productivity and project management tools is a plus. </li><li>Ability to manage fast-paced, high-stakes environments with professionalism and calm. </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, including drafting for executive audiences. </li></ul> <p> </p> <p>This is more than an administrative role-it's a seat at the crossroads of leadership, trust, and transformation.
