This role involves overseeing site assessments, remediation, permitting, and compliance activities while ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal regulations. You will collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, contractors, and internal teams to deliver sustainable, high-quality engineering solutions.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead environmental engineering projects, including site assessments, remediation, permitting, and compliance. </li><li>Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables across multiple active sites. </li><li>Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, contractors, and internal teams. </li><li>Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and environmental documentation. </li><li>Ensure compliance with environmental regulations at all levels. </li><li>Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance. </li><li>Support business development through proposal writing and client presentations. </li></ul> <p>Essential Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience: Minimum 7 years in the environmental field.</p> </li><li> <p>Professional Engineer (PE) license required.</p> </li><li> <p>Expertise in:</p> </li><li> <p>Project management</p> </li><li> <p>Site assessments (Phase I & II)</p> </li><li> <p>Groundwater and environmental remediation</p> </li><li> <p>Geology and environmental engineering</p> </li><li> <p>OER/Brownfield experience preferred.</p> </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Certifications</p> <ul> <li>Hazwoper and OSHA 40 certification. </li><li>Experience in environmental construction and report writing. </li><li>Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance standards. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This is an on-site position at our Brooklyn office.
