RANDALL's services and products are delivered through our 100,000 sq. ft. fabrication facility, set on 25 acres in Central Florida.</p> <p>Randall is seeking a highly skilled and motivated BIM (Building Information Modeling) Manager to oversee and manage BIM processes within both our local fabrication shop and on-site plumbing and mechanical trade construction projects from our headquarters in Apopka, FL.</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>Randall's BIM Manager will be responsible for coordinating BIM standards, developing and implementing BIM protocols, and ensuring the accurate integration of BIM technology within our processes.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li> <p>Manage BIM Standards: Develop, implement, and enforce BIM standards and protocols for all projects.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate BIM Processes: Oversee the creation and maintenance of BIM models throughout the lifecycle of new and existing projects.</p> </li><li> <p>BIM Schedule: Develop and maintain BIM schedule in Touchplan.</p> </li><li> <p>Training and Support: Provide training and technical support to up-skill staff on BIM software and tools, including Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks. Experience in modeling/spooling for fabrication preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Project Coordination: Work closely with project teams to assist in BIM project setup and ensure conformance with BIM protocols.</p> </li><li> <p>Quality Assurance: Review and manage models for accuracy and consistency, ensuring they meet BIM standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Software Management: Manage BIM software suites, ensuring updates, patches, and fixes are applied as necessary.</p> </li><li> <p>Stakeholder Collaboration: Participate in BIM coordination meetings with project stakeholders to streamline processes and resolve issues.</p> </li></ul> <p>Desired Qualification Requirements</p> <ul> <li> <p>Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.</p> </li><li> <p>Bilingual (English & Spanish) strongly preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in BIM management, preferably within a fabrication or construction environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience: Must have Code knowledge in the plumbing and mechanical trades.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience: Familiarity with BIM to fabrication software such as CADmep.</p> </li><li> <p>Skills: Proficiency in BIM software applications such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other relevant tools. Strong organizational and communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Certifications: BIM certification (e.g., LEED, BD+C) is a plus.</p> </li><li> <p>Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage complex models and ensure accuracy.</p> </li><li> <p>Team Player: Excellent team management and collaboration skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Innovative: Ability to implement new BIM methodologies and technologies to improve efficiency.</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <p>This is primarily an office position and, as such, you must be able to sit up to six or more hours in an eight-hour workday, lift light objects such as files and paperwork frequently during the day, and objects weighing up to 10 pounds occasionally during the day.
