This role is responsible for supervising a clinical care team, ensuring high-quality patient care, and supporting operational excellence in collaboration with the Practice Leader and Operations Director. The ideal candidate will be a licensed Registered Nurse with strong leadership, clinical expertise, and a passion for continuous improvement.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Supervise and evaluate clinical staff including Registered Nurses and support personnel. </li><li>Manage daily patient care assignments, staffing schedules, and resource allocation. </li><li>Ensure adequate inventory of equipment and supplies. </li><li>Collaborate with Practice Leader and Operations Director on hiring, performance evaluations, and staff development. </li><li>Facilitate patient flow and resolve operational issues within the practice. </li><li>Serve as a clinical expert and mentor for staff development and education. </li><li>Support quality improvement initiatives and customer service strategies. </li><li>Participate in shared governance and Magnet designation activities. </li><li>Maintain compliance with Trinity Health nursing standards and professional practice model. </li><li>Communicate effectively across departments and with medical staff and vendors. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) </li><li>Preferred: Master's degree in nursing </li></ul> <p>Licensure/Certification:</p> <ul> <li>Required: Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan </li><li>Preferred: Specialty certification as applicable </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Required: Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience with similar patient populations </li><li>Preferred: Experience in staff supervision, education, and clinical operations in a complex healthcare environment </li></ul> <p>Skills & Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills </li><li>Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities </li><li>Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills </li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical setting </li><li>Proficiency with standard desktop applications and clinical software systems </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to lift and move up to 35 lbs. and operate patient movement equipment </li><li>Frequent standing, bending, and walking; occasional sitting and squatting </li><li>Visual acuity and communication skills necessary for patient assessment and documentation </li><li>Ability to work under stress and in emotionally challenging situations </li></ul> <p>Why Join Us?</p> <p>At Trinity Health, we are committed to providing compassionate care and fostering a culture of excellence.
