TMH is the region's healthcare leader and top provider of advanced care with a 772-bed acute care hospital and the region's only:</p> <ul> <li>Level II Trauma Center </li><li>Primary Stroke Center </li><li>Level III Neonatal Intensive Care </li><li>Pediatric Intensive Care </li><li>The most advanced cancer, heart and vascular, orthopedic & surgery programs in the Panhandle. </li></ul> <p>Our system also includes a psychiatric hospital, multiple specialty care centers, six residency programs and more than 50 affiliated physician practices.</p> <p>HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT</p> <p>Your Role:</p> <ul> <li>Is dedicated to helping to identify, plan, and execute improvement projects by an internal consultant providing support necessary to deliver results and spread changes. </li><li>Functions as a change agent, collaborating with staff to drive continuous, rapid performance improvement. </li><li>Provides skills, knowledge, and expertise in performance improvement tools and techniques. </li><li>Working with an operational or administrative leader, supports and facilitates change that leads to improvement. </li><li>TMH emphasizes evidence-based medicine and data-driven improvement, and the Advisor provides expertise in measurement, use of the Improvement Method, teamwork, meeting facilitation, and project management. </li><li>Supports communication and reporting related to improvement through preparation and delivery of reports, presentations, public relations communications, and other materials. </li></ul> <p>Reports To:</p> <ul> <li>Vice President/Chief Improvement and Planning Officer, Manager of Quality Measures and Outcomes, Systems Manager </li></ul> <p>Supervises:</p> <ul> <li>None </li></ul> <p>WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO APPLY</p> <p>Required Education:</p> <ul> <li>Associate degree in nursing </li></ul> <p>Preferred Education:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in nursing </li></ul> <p>Required Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Five (5) years job related experience </li><li>Human Resources (HR) may accept post-associate degree nursing education in lieu of required experience on a 1-year: 1-year basis. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Five (5) or more years job related experience (including statistical processes, quality improvement, and data analysis). </li><li>Strong knowledge of the Microsoft (MS) Office applications suite (e.g., Word, Excel, and Outlook). </li><li>Knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g., state laws, The Joint Commission (TJC) standards, and participation conditions). </li></ul> <p>Required Certification/License/Registry:</p> <ul> <li>Licensed as a registered nurse (RN) in accordance with Florida Statutes (FS), Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 464 (Nursing), Part I (Nurse Practice Act) [includes multistate compact licensure] </li><li>Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare is an equal opportunity employer and drug-free workplace.
