These structural elements reflect our unwavering dedication to academic excellence.</p> <p>About Rosetta Stone at MVRCS:</p> <p>Rosetta Stone is a leading language-learning platform that empowers students to speak, read, and write new languages with confidence. Its immersive, intuitive approach accelerates both acquisition and retention, supporting English language learners as well as students studying foreign languages.</p> <p>Through real-world visuals, native-speaker audio, and immediate pronunciation feedback, students begin speaking a new language from day one. Each lesson is scaffolded to develop vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills, enabling learners to progress from words to full conversations with ease. The program emphasizes consistent speaking practice and eliminates English instructions to mirror the way students naturally acquire language.</p> <p>Position Overview: Rosetta Stone Instructor</p> <p>Mystic Valley Regional Charter School seeks a motivated and tech-savvy Rosetta Stone Instructor to deliver language instruction through the Rosetta Stone program. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting language acquisition and student development, capable of managing technology effectively, and committed to upholding MVRCS's high academic standards.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Deliver daily language instruction using the Rosetta Stone platform with fidelity.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, including software, hardware, and peripherals; perform minor repairs as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Establish and maintain an organized, structured classroom environment and daily schedule.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor student behavior and uphold the school's behavior management plan, including the use of the 4:1 ratio of positive reinforcement.</p> </li><li> <p>Track and document daily student progress and lesson completion; submit reports weekly to the Professional Development Coordinator.</p> </li><li> <p>Record successes and areas for improvement in lesson delivery and communicate weekly with the PDC.</p> </li><li> <p>Attend all required professional development sessions, grade-level team meetings, Teacher Assistance Team (TAT) meetings, and staff meetings.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in IEP meetings as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Complete and distribute four progress reports and four report cards annually for all assigned students.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct four parent-teacher conferences each year (two in the fall, two in the spring).</p> </li><li> <p>Attend school events including Back-to-School Night, Open Houses, Holiday Performances, and the High School Senior Luncheon.</p> </li><li> <p>Fulfill assigned duties including morning, lunch/recess, and afternoon responsibilities.</p> </li><li> <p>Adhere to all MVRCS policies and procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Lead Teacher.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications & Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree required.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong verbal and written communication skills; bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to analyze problems, gather data, draw conclusions, and implement appropriate solutions.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of state and federal education regulations and adherence to school policies.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong collaborative and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.</p> </li><li> <p>Must obtain applicable MTEL certification within one year of hire.</p> </li><li> <p>Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S.</p> </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>This position is a full-time, annual appointment and will be evaluated on a yearly basis.</p> <p>Mystic Valley Regional Charter School is an equal opportunity employer.
