The Radiology Technologist will:</p> <ul> <li>Perform all technical procedures within the respective modality sections as described in the Radiology Policy Manual. </li><li>Meet the technical competency requirements for the position. </li><li>Maintain an effective working relationship with all staff. </li><li>Participate in professional education programs, patient/staff safety initiatives, and quality assurance/improvement activities. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Education: High school diploma or equivalent required</p> </li><li> <p>Experience: Documented training and experience in radiography</p> </li><li> <p>Certification/Licensure:</p> </li><li> <p>Current MA DPH Radiologic Technologist Radiography license required</p> </li><li> <p>Current ARRT registered certification in Radiography with RT(R) designation</p> </li><li> <p>BLS/CPR required</p> </li><li> <p>Software/Hardware:</p> </li><li> <p>Imaging acquisition, processing, reviewing, sending, and retrieving equipment (hardware and software)</p> </li><li> <p>Hospital information system equipment (hardware and software)</p> </li><li> <p>Communication equipment (e.g., fax, telephone, email, etc.)</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to use computers</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to speak, read, and write in English</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to hear and respond to staff and patient needs</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to physically position patients</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to manipulate imaging equipment</p> </li><li> <p>For recent radiologic technology graduate only: ARRT registered certification eligibility in Radiography with RT(R); must obtain registered certification within 12 months of hire and prior to the expiration of a temporary Massachusetts DPH Radiologic Technologist Radiography (Full/General) license</p> </li></ul> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer/Disabled/Veterans</p>
