<p>Consider before submitting an application:</p> <p>This position is expected to start around January 2026 and continue through the Winter/Spring term (ending approximately May 2026) or continuing into Summer 2026 if available and there is an opportunity to do so. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time and on-site, for most internships. Our internship program is for students who are actively enrolled in an academic program. Recent graduates seeking employment after graduation and not returning to school should apply for full-time positions, not internships.</p> <p>International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site. All of this under the guiding principle of sustainability. You'll be working cross-functionally with various internal and external stakeholders, interfacing with end users, construction engineering, and manufacturing engineering while tracking the project schedule and overall success.</p> <p>Multiple Locations Possible: Austin, TX; Buffalo, NY; Fremont, CA; Lathrop, CA; Sparks, NV</p> <ul> <li> <p>Support project managers with daily tasks, including scheduling, documentation, and coordination of project activities</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in site visits to monitor project progress, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and assist with on-site problem-solving</p> </li><li> <p>Help with the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, including reports, change orders, and meeting minutes</p> </li><li> <p>Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including subcontractors, suppliers, and team members</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with data entry and analysis related to project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure that construction activities adhere to safety standards, building codes, and company specifications</p> </li><li> <p>Provide general administrative support, including organizing files, scheduling meetings, and preparing presentations</p> </li><li> <p>Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field</p> </li><li> <p>Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively</p> </li><li> <p>Basic knowledge of construction methods and materials; familiarity with software such as MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management tools is a plus</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support team goals</p> </li><li> <p>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges</p> </li></ul>
