<p>JOIN OUR TEAM AND EXPERIENCE ENDLESS CAREER POSSIBILITIES</p> <p>IF YOU ARE AN EXISTING TEAM MEMBER, PLEASE CLICK THE FOLLOWING LINK TO BE TAKEN TO THE INTERNAL CAREER SITE: MOHEGAN INTERNAL CAREER SITE</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>This is a seasonal position that is responsible for the general maintenance of the golf course.</p> <p>Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for setting up the golf course for daily and tournament use </li><li>Operates all equipment efficiently, including tractors and attachments </li><li>Applies pesticide and fertilizer applications </li><li>Performs bunker maintenance </li><li>Operates light hand equipment including weed whackers, push mowers, blowers, hand tools, etc. </li></ul> <p>Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Performs hand watering </li><li>Maintains, lubricates and makes minor adjustments to golf course equipment </li></ul> <p>Minimum Education and Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent </li><li>Previous experience with the safe and efficient operation of all motorized equipment </li><li>Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable through the company carrier </li></ul> <p>Competencies: Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:</p> <ul> <li>Good written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Ability to receive, understand, follow and retain written and verbal instructions </li><li>Knowledge of pesticides and their proper application </li><li>Understanding of all relevant tools and equipment and their use, maintenance and repair </li></ul> <p>Training Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Working knowledge of irrigation systems and their repair </li><li>Understanding of the rules and regulations of golf </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands and Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to walk, bend, stoop, stand and perform manual labor tasks for extended periods of time </li><li>Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions </li><li>Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. </li><li>Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours </li></ul> <p>This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, requirements or working conditions associated with this job.
