This individual will also assist with maintaining a safe, clean and organized work environment.</p> <p>Essential Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Fabricate parts and assemblies from concept drawings and sketches</p> </li><li> <p>Assemble products from concept drawings and sketches</p> </li><li> <p>Assemble refrigeration systems as instructed, including mechanical assembly, brazing, refrigeration processing and electrical</p> </li><li> <p>Set-up and instrument products with necessary test equipment to perform tests via verbal or written instructions</p> </li><li> <p>Run tests using computerized data acquisition systems or standalone test instrumentation</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in analyzing test data through Excel or other software products</p> </li><li> <p>Write comprehensive reports to communicate test set-ups and results</p> </li><li> <p>Purchase equipment, tools and supplies as directed</p> </li><li> <p>Travel solo or with others as needed for tradeshows or customer sites and write reports for trip summaries</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment</p> </li><li> <p>Work collaboratively or independently to complete tasks to achieve company objectives</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>Requirements for Effective Performance:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Associates degree or equivalent in Engineering or HVAC&R</p> </li><li> <p>3 years of relevant experience</p> </li><li> <p>Basic knowledge of tools and equipment for refrigeration equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Basic knowledge of Microsoft products, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with Data acquisition systems; utilization of National Instruments LabView considered a strong bonus.</p> </li></ul> <p>Skills/Abilities/Specifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ability to read, understand and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to use a variety of hand tools, power tools, model shop machinery and measuring devices</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Experience with SolidWorks a bonus.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge and experience brazing and soldering for refrigeration and electrical</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge and experience in handling refrigerants</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge and experience in the basic refrigerant processing steps for evacuation, charging, recovering and reclaiming refrigerants</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to apply common sense and practical reasoning for performing tasks in a safe and efficient manner</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to talk, hear, stand, walk, feel, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.</p> </li></ul> <p>Behavioral & Environmental Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Maintain a positive work attitude.
