<p>What you'll bring to the team...</p> <ul> <li>Post financial transactions into subsidiary books and general ledgers </li><li>Reconcile and balance accounts </li><li>Generate and analyze financial statements </li><li>Prepare and process payroll </li><li>Generate 1099s and W2s and calculate and prepare tax statements </li><li>Communicate with clients, client suppliers, vendors and banking contacts </li><li>Assist in client retention and client growth opportunities </li></ul> <p>Your Expertise:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>National bookkeeping and payroll certifications from the National Bookkeeping Association, or the ability to successfully obtain certifications </li><li>1-3 years of bookkeeping experience </li><li>Knowledge of bookkeeping practices and generally accepted accounting principles & procedures </li><li>Ability to correctly interpret and apply complete instructions, policies and regulations </li><li>Ability to treat confidential information with professionalism and discretion </li><li>Analytical skills and an eye for details </li><li>Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multi-task and work independently </li></ul>
