<p>The Program Manager Ambulatory Operations is looked to by senior hospital leadership for expert guidance on operations across the Ambulatory space.</p> <p>This position is responsible for coordinating services/communication across multiple locations to ensure consistency. Overall supervision of the managers, staff, and teams that may be assigned to him/her. Works closely in planning, analyzing and evaluating information for assigned services in close collaboration with the ambulatory clinic leadership. Handles and supports multiple projects in conjunction with the project management team and the VP of Ambulatory Operations.</p> <p>The Program Manager Ambulatory Operations supports Senior Directors in operationalizing strategic objectives. Position will cover all operational aspects of the ambulatory portfolio and requires extensive ability to prioritize and handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.</p> <p>Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire: N/A</p> <p>Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment: N/A</p> <p>Experience REQUIRED:</p> <p>Minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience in a progressive clinical supervisory role that required operational expertise</p> <p>7-10 years experience in a hospital or clinic setting related to operations or clinical workflows to include:</p> <p>Previous work experience with regulatory compliance standards and accrediting agency requirements.</p> <p>Previous work experience with department/hospital revenue cycle functions.</p> <p>Previous extensive work experience with computer systems including Windows, Excel and specific department computer/hospital systems.</p> <p>Proven excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.</p> <p>Experience PREFERRED: Project management, lean experience is a plus</p> <p>Education/training REQUIRED:</p> <p>High school diploma/GED</p> <p>Education/training PREFERRED:</p> <p>Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Healthcare, Administration or Nursing from accredited program. RN licensure highly preferred.</p> <p>Independent action(s) required:</p> <p>Ensure all program components support accreditation and other state and local codes, policies and procedures.</p> <p>In conjunction with ambulatory leadership develops and maintains scheduling protocols and template management policies.</p> <p>Supervisory responsibilities (if applicable):</p> <p>Provides supervision of the managers, staff, and teams assigned to him/her.</p> <p>Functions as a member of the management team who participates in the overall decision-making for ambulatory operations.</p> <p>Additional position requirements:</p> <p>Age Specific groups served:</p> <p>Physical Requirements (includes use of assistance devices as appropriate):</p> <p>Activities: Prolonged standing, Prolonged sitting, Walking (distance)</p> <p>Mental / sensory: Strong recall, Reasoning, Problem solving, Write legibly, Reading, Logical thinking</p> <p>Emotional: Fast pace environment, Able to handle multiple priorities, Frequent and intense customer interactions, Able to adapt to frequent change</p> <p>EEO Employer/Disabled/Protected Veteran/41 CFR 60-1.4.</p>
