<p>Job Description BAE Systems is hiring a Program Manager to support the Core Chemical Value Stream in our Ordnance Business (OSI) in Radford, VA. The Program Manager will coordinate with Operations to help drive operations schedules, monitor cost, aid in proposal preparation and approval, interface with the customer, develop internal business plans, and present business status to leadership.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Align with Program Management Office (PMO) to drive Life Cycle Management (LCM) processes into production where they add the most value. </li><li>Work with stakeholders (Ops, SCM, Finance, etc.) to ensure production schedule is maximizing available resources and our business plan. </li><li>Manage production schedule available for Pricing new business, internal financial forecasts, headcount forecasts, etc. </li><li>Work with all Functional leaders to ensure proper resource allocation / support. </li><li>Along with Operations, develop detailed metrics and shop floor goals that will meet IBP/QBR forecasts. </li><li>Responsible for Risk and Opportunity (R&O) management processes for RFAAP production/PWS. </li><li>Interface between Operations and Finance to support QBR / IBP forecasts as well as EACs where applicable. </li><li>Support Firm or Follow-on contracts for existing products / services. </li><li>Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure pricing provided is meeting business expectations. </li><li>Support RBA process for existing products, firm, follow-on, etc. </li><li>Ensure proposed work fits in available production schedule. </li><li>Support development of BOE, along with Operations and Price Estimating. </li><li>Work with BD/Engineering to develop long range plans to meet business growth goals. </li><li>Coordinate with R&D team to ensure proper business case for new product development efforts. </li></ul> <p>Required Education, Experience, & Skills</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of work experience or equivalent experience </li><li>Experience in Program Management, Program Controls, or Lifecycle Management (LCM) </li><li>Experience in People/Cross-functional Leadership </li><li>Experience in planning, organizing, and managing multiple projects concurrently </li><li>Experience in presenting work output to all levels of management </li><li>Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and assignments </li><li>Ability to drive a collaborative, team-oriented environment to support and drive process improvement within Operational Excellence initiatives </li><li>Ability to monitor performance through KPIs and Metrics and identify risks and opportunities </li><li>Ability to own assignments and be fully accountable for their success </li><li>Ability to effectively influence cross-functional teams </li><li>Ability to build relationships with customer and instill confidence in business capabilities </li><li>Strong written and oral communication skills </li><li>Strong planning and organizational skills </li><li>Strong computer application skills </li></ul> <p>Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills</p> <ul> <li>Degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, or similar </li><li>PMP Certification </li><li>A Strategic mindset with the ability to think long-term </li><li>Experience in Cost Account Management (CAM) or Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) </li><li>Experience in Manufacturing with an understanding of Production processes, Quality Control, and Lean Manufacturing </li><li>Experience in Plant Management, Business Planning, and Analysis </li><li>Ability to refine and improve PM Data Management and Reporting capabilities </li><li>Strong Data Analytics, Data Visualization, or Reporting skills </li></ul> <p>Pay Information</p> <p>Full-Time Salary Range: $133333 - $226667</p> <p>Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
