<p>The following DCY Divisions are looking for Interns for Summer of 2026. Each description below will also provide the preferred academic year and coursework for applicants.</p> <p>Research, Evaluation & Impact - Master's, PHD - Statistics, Research methods, Public policy</p> <p>Potential projects include, but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Impact or Issue Briefs writing, analysis, & research across all program areas </li><li>Logic Model creation, Grant writing, Assessment tool analysis, Literature Reviews </li></ul> <p>Fiscal - Junior, Senior - Financial or Accounting coursework</p> <p>Potential projects include, but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Accounting </li><li>Federal Reporting </li><li>Budget </li></ul> <p>Policy - Junior, Senior, Master's, PHD - Statistics, Data Analytics, Public Health, Epidemiology, Social Work/Sociology/Psychology, or related Behavioral Health Science with interest in Child Protection Services, Kinship Caregiver, Foster Caregiver, and Adoption.</p> <p>Potential projects include, but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assist with conducting policy review and legislative analysis</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with policy and program development and analysis</p> </li><li> <p>Case review and analysis of child protection across the continuum</p> </li><li> <p>Assessment of Practice models review and planning</p> </li><li> <p>Program assistance regarding kinship caregivers and post adoption services</p> </li></ul> <p>Outreach and Engagement - Junior, Senior, Master's, PHD - Social work, sociology, psychology, human services</p> <p>Potential projects include, but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Assist with division-wide efforts pertaining to children services initiatives as well as child abuse neglect prevention efforts and family peer supports. </li><li>Meeting Planning </li><li>Speaker Request preparation and participation </li><li>Conducting research to inform various initiatives as well as program data collection and analysis. </li></ul> <p>Regulatory Compliance - Sophomore, Junior, Senior, Master's, PHD - Early Childhood Education, Social Work</p> <p>Potential projects include, but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Depending on timing of intern placement and prioritization of work during that semester, the intern would work on special projects such as quality assurance monitoring, </li><li>Assisting in planning and executing regional provider trainings </li><li>Collaboration with other divisions in program work </li></ul> <p>Information Technology - Junior, Senior, Master's, PHD - Computer Science or related fields</p> <p>Potential projects include, but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Assisting with process creation and documentation </li><li>Special project support, including project management and analysis learning opportunities </li><li>Entry-level technical support </li></ul> <p>Performance, Federal, and State Initiatives - Junior, Senior, Master's PHD - Statistics, Data Analytics, Public Health, Epidemiology, Social Work/Sociology with interest in Data</p> <p>Potential projects include, but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Assist with conducting data analysis </li><li>Data quality checks </li><li>Research data trends </li><li>Supporting data team members </li></ul> <p>Training, TA & Practice - Senior, Grad - Master's, Doctoral - Social Work, Sociology, Family Studies, Education, Child Development, Public Policy/Administration, Psychology</p> <p>Potential projects include, but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Assist with research on early childhood assessment, technical assistance models, other state's practices/policies on specific topics related to the different program areas </li><li>Conduct data analysis, prepare reports </li><li>Review assessment data </li><li>Develop and/or edit communications </li><li>Support program area team members </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Must be accepted, enrolled, and in good standing at a college or university.</p> <p>Will be required to produce official documentation from your college, if selected.</p> <p>Office 365 experience.</p> <p>Required weekly hours start at a minimum of 10 but can be no more than 39.</p>
