<p>Pittsburg Tank and Tower Group</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>INSPECTION TECHNICIAN</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>The Inspection Helper will assist job Foreman and crew with various duties associated with inspection of steel structures.</p> <p>Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Assists with staging equipment </li><li>Assists with operations of drone equipment </li><li>Takes photos of structures </li><li>Takes thickness readings for steel structures </li><li>Document work as needed </li><li>Climb and inspect towers for defects, safety, and code violations </li><li>The above list of duties is not to be construed as an exhaustive list. Other duties logically associated with the position may be assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must be at least 18 years of age or older </li><li>Must be comfortable with working in high places </li><li>Ability to follow safety policies and procedures </li><li>Works well with a team </li><li>Able to drive a company vehicle safely to field sites </li><li>Possesses strong problem-solving skills </li><li>Manages time effectively </li><li>Detail-oriented </li><li>Must be willing to travel 4 to 5 weeks at a time across the country </li><li>Ability to lift 40lbs on regular basis </li><li>Ability to pass OSHA 10. </li><li>Ability to pass CPR/First Aid. </li><li>Ability to pass RF Awareness. </li><li>Ability to pass Tower Climbing Certifications including Tower Rescue (Comtrain) </li><li>Comfortable with climbing heights up to 2000' </li><li>Valid driver's license and pass insurance requirements to drive a company vehicle. </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands</p> <p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; climb or balance; use hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
