The Department seeks mathematics education scholars with expertise in mathematics, experience teaching secondary mathematics, and mathematics teacher leadership in K-12 school contexts.</p> <p>The candidate for this position should expect to:</p> <ul> <li>Conduct scholarly research, produce publications, and seek external funding to support scholarly activities to develop a coherent research agenda; </li><li>Teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in secondary mathematics education and other areas of research and practice expertise; and </li><li>Mentor and advise advanced graduate and doctoral students. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Additional Considerations:</p> <ul> <li>Interest in program collaboration, leadership, and decision-making. </li><li>Experience developing and managing partnership relationships with PreK-12 schools. </li><li>Experience teaching online and face-to-face courses using a variety of technology and pedagogy for effective learning. </li><li>Special consideration will be given to applicants with, university collaborative efforts involving schools, postsecondary institutions, and agencies, experience in securing external funding, experience with and/or a commitment to working in diverse settings, and experience in a program leadership role. </li></ul>
