Your journey starts now-protect and innovate with MANTECH!</p> <p>MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Information Technology/Assurance Specialist III to join our team in El Segundo, CA.</p> <p>The Information Technology/Assurance Specialist III will leverage their strong technical background and knowledge to support Special Access Programs (SAPs) supporting SMC Directorates and/or AFSPC Operational Units. You will provide "day-to-day" support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.</p> <p>Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Establishing complex operational software configuration controls and system interfaces for assigned computer systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintaining file servers, firewalls, network access, and Security Monitoring Systems while ensuring all system documentation is current.</p> </li><li> <p>Analyzing and troubleshooting system anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performance and supporting operational tests.</p> </li><li> <p>Reviewing, preparing, and updating AIS accreditation packages and notifying customers of changes affecting certification.</p> </li><li> <p>Identifying AIS vulnerabilities, implementing effective countermeasures, and performing routine AIS self-inspections.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensuring all AIS and network nodes are operated, maintained, and disposed of in strict accordance with security policies.</p> </li><li> <p>Providing leadership, mentoring, and quality assurance for team members while managing account creations and help desk support.</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree or additional 4 years of experience.</p> </li><li> <p>8+ years of total related experience.</p> </li><li> <p>6+ years of relevant SCI or SAP experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Working knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies and data backup technologies to include communication security (COMSEC) integration.</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with security policy manuals including ICDs, JAFANs, DoD Manuals, and guiding policy documents.</p> </li><li> <p>Must meet DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 2 and IAM Level 1 certification requirements within 6 months of the date of hire.</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications :</p> <ul> <li> <p>Minimum 3 years of SAP-related experience is highly desired.</p> </li><li> <p>Completed training on Joint Security Implementation Guidance (JSIG) and Risk Management Framework (RMF).</p> </li><li> <p>Working knowledge and current relevant experience with PL1 & PL2 systems; experience with PL3 & PL4 cross-domain solutions is desired.</p> </li><li> <p>Possession of a high degree of originality, creativity, and initiative requiring minimal supervision.</p> </li></ul> <p>Clearance Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Current Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility and be willing to submit to a polygraph. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.</p> </li><li> <p>Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.</p> </li></ul> <p>The projected compensation range for this position is $128,000.00-$214,400.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
