The Supervisor role is crucial in supporting the mission and vision of Cleveland Clinic. By leading and managing a team effectively, a supervisor ensures that the organization's standards for patient care, safety, and operational efficiency are met. This role directly contributes to creating a positive and productive work environment, which aligns with the organization's commitment to excellence in healthcare.</p> <p>A caregiver in this position works Monday through Friday, from 6:00am to 4:00pm with rotational full weekends and holiday requirements.</p> <p>A caregiver who excels in this role will:</p> <ul> <li>Supervise the technical and administrative functions of the Environmental Services department. </li><li>Act as a technical resource for team members. </li><li>Implement goals consistent with assigned clinical and non-clinical units. </li><li>Provide effective utilization of personnel, policies, and procedures in order to ensure a clean, safe, and attractive environment. </li><li>Supervise caregivers in daily operations and evaluate performance. </li><li>Continuously inspect assigned areas to ensure high quality of cleaning and maintenance is being performed. </li><li>Maintain staffing levels. </li><li>Approve and schedule paid time off and leave requests. </li><li>Ensure cross coverage. </li><li>Coordinate and provide orientation, education and training. </li><li>Improve procedures and processes. </li><li>Analyze workflow and procedures. </li><li>Identify and implement opportunities to improve speed, quality and effectiveness. </li></ul> <p>Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li>A high school diploma or GED </li><li>Two years of experience as a work leader, team lead or project manager, or one year of supervisor experience in a related field OR a bachelor's degree. </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li>Previous environmental services or housekeeping experience </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods </li><li>Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment. </li><li>Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information. </li><li>Ability to travel throughout the hospital system. </li><li>Ability to perform duties while walking, standing, stooping and lifting. </li></ul> <p>Personal Protective Equipment:</p> <ul> <li>Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required. </li></ul> <p>Pay Range</p> <p>Minimum Annual Salary: $43,200.00</p> <p>Maximum Annual Salary: $65,880.00</p> <p>The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
