Learn how you can start or jumpstart your career with us.</p> <p>Qnity has an immediate opening for an experienced Polymerics Technical Advisor at our Newark-Bellevue, DE site.</p> <p>Your key responsibilities will be/what you'll do:</p> <ul> <li>Technical / process resource in Polymerics Casting. </li><li>Specific focus on Casting production, inspection, quality, and defects. </li><li>Troubleshoot product defects to understand causes. </li><li>Develop and implement plans to reduce future quality defects. </li><li>Coach operators to resolve technical quality issues. </li><li>Perform or assist in informal and formal process and quality related root cause or failure analysis. </li><li>Partner with First Line Leaders to develop operator knowledge, skills, and operation. </li><li>Liaison with internal customers on inspection criteria and defects for alignment. </li><li>Identify areas for improvement and network with technical resources to understand opportunity including yield, quality, up-time, safety, compliance, cost, etc. </li><li>Assist and lead improvement opportunities. </li><li>Work collaboratively with Polymerics team to rapidly troubleshoot and improve process and quality issues. </li><li>Support maintenance issues and scheduling. </li><li>Network with experts across organization to manage equipment, process, and quality requirements and expectations (Manufacturing Technology, Product Quality, Reliability, etc.). </li><li>Work with operators to ensure Standard Operating Procedures are accurate and effective. </li><li>Consults with training coordinators and coach operators as needed regarding gaps in skills and knowledge. </li><li>Lead and participate in EHS requirements such as audits. </li><li>Participate in product stewardship audits, customer visits, provide support to address and resolve customer needs. </li><li>Lead and participate MOCs as required. </li><li>First point of escalation for troubleshooting and technical questions off hours. </li><li>Works within standard operating procedures and with moderate to minimal degree of supervision. </li></ul> <p>JOB QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. </li><li>Minimum 3 years of CMPT manufacturing experience or equivalent required. </li><li>Strong Safety and Quality focus is required. </li><li>Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills needed. </li><li>Self-motivated self-starter. </li><li>Time management: balance between production/floor work and data/strategy/computer work. </li><li>Leadership and provide direct feedback and coaching. </li><li>Teamwork and collaboration. </li><li>Problem solving skills. </li><li>Oral and written communication skills. </li><li>Equipment, quality, process troubleshooting skills & mindset. </li><li>Continuous Improvement mindset. </li><li>Working computer application knowledge including MS Office, SAP, etc </li></ul> <p>Join our Talent Community to stay connected with us!</p> <p>Qnity is an equal opportunity employer.
