<p>Cooler/Warehouse Worker</p> <p>#31242</p> <p>Location: Englewood, CO</p> <p>Company: Meadow Gold Dairy</p> <p>Category: Manufacturing</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Compensation:</p> <ul> <li>$24.02 Hourly (Increase to $26.69 within the first year) </li></ul> <p>SCHEDULE:</p> <p>3:00 pm start time: Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday</p> <p>Schedule subject to change based on business needs</p> <p>BENEFITS:</p> <ul> <li>Union pension plan </li><li>Competitive pay </li><li>paid sick leave </li><li>yearly increases </li><li>Career growth opportunities - we promote from within! </li><li>Comprehensive healthcare benefits </li><li>Employee referral program </li></ul> <p>JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Load and unload stacks and move items as assigned; sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence, such as size, type, style, color, or product code </li><li>Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated area </li><li>Maintain organization, rotation of stock, and neatness of all coolers and warehouse </li><li>Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other items and distribute to production workers </li><li>Accurately pull and prepare customer orders for shipping and for efficient loading onto trucks/trailers </li><li>Check all information for accurate shipment of customer orders; check bills of lading for accuracy before any product is shipped or received; check products for cleanliness and condition prior to loading </li><li>Use computer to accurately scan or enter/maintain inventories and records </li><li>Complete daily pick sheets, cycle counts, and production take backs </li><li>Assist with monthly inventory counts, year-end inventory counts, and cycle counts as required </li><li>Monitor materials, product, and equipment at each step of the process and report irregularities or concerns to supervisor </li><li>May sort, bundle and fill containers or place in assembled units </li><li>May mark or put identifying labels on product loads </li><li>May operate a forklift, including a standing forklift, to load and unload trucks and move inventory from one location to another </li><li>Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization </li><li>Follow all DFA GMP's and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements. Other duties may be assigned as required </li><li>varies by company and governing CBAs </li></ul> <p>REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED preferred </li><li>Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal </li><li>Effective verbal and written communications skills </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks </li><li>Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach and bend virtually the entire shift </li><li>Must be ableto lift up to 50 pounds and assist others when lifting is necessary and manually stack and move cases up to 6-8 cases high </li><li>Must be able to work in a wet environment and work in an environment where temperature is maintained at 35-40 degrees Fahrenheit </li><li>Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays </li><li>May occasionally be exposed to cleaning chemicals </li></ul> <p>DFA is an Equal Opportunity Employer</p> <p>Salary:</p> <p>$24.02-$26.69</p>
