Internal Job Board</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>We are seeking a motivated and client-oriented Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on geotechnical-related projects with an emphasis on analysis, preparation of comprehensive geotechnical reports, and direct client communication. The successful candidate will manage projects from start to finish, ensuring seamless execution, high-quality deliverables, and exceptional client service.</p> <p>Core Areas of Analysis:</p> <p>General Geotechnical Explorations</p> <p>Foundation Evaluations</p> <p>Pavement Design and Analysis</p> <p>Settlement Analysis</p> <p>Slope Stability Analysis</p> <p>Karst Explorations</p> <p>Construction Site and Expansive Soils Evaluations</p> <p>Special Inspections and Construction Materials Testing (CMT)</p> <p><em>Please note that the duties below may vary based on the changing needs of the company.</em></p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Conduct geotechnical field explorations and oversee laboratory testing.</p> </li><li> <p>Analyze and interpret field and laboratory data to provide sound geotechnical recommendations.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare and review detailed geotechnical reports for commercial, industrial, retail, government, and residential projects.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout project lifecycles, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage geotechnical projects, including proposal development, project execution, and report delivery.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate field activities with drill crews, including scheduling and sampling logistics.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct field work as necessary to ensure accurate data collection and quality control.</p> </li><li> <p>Utilize engineering software (e.g., gINT, DARWin, SLOPE/W, VOLFLO, gSTABL, SLIDE, Microsoft Excel) for analysis and reporting.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Education: Bachelor's in Civil Engineering (required); Master's in Civil Engineering (preferred).</p> </li><li> <p>Licensure: Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Tennesee or Arkansas (required).</p> </li><li> <p>Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Technical Skills: Proficient in industry-standard geotechnical software and Microsoft Office Suite.</p> </li><li> <p>Additional: Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.</p> </li></ul> <p>Who We Are</p> <p>UES is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is proud to recruit the most qualified candidates.
