Working at the intersection of Procurement, R&D, Manufacturing, Finance, and Brand, this role focuses on lowering Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and enabling tax-efficient sourcing strategies while maintaining product integrity, quality, and brand standards. This position requires a highly independent leader who can assess opportunities, define and prioritize a value optimization roadmap, build strong financial and business cases, and lead cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Identify and research ingredients, formulation, and manufacturing optimization opportunities that deliver measurable value. </li><li>Evaluate, size, and prioritize opportunities using rigorous financial and analytical methods, balancing impact, complexity, and resource requirements. </li><li>Develop detailed financial models and business cases outlining COGS, margin, and tax implications, and lead approval processes. </li><li>Execute approved initiatives end-to-end to reduce COGS and tax exposure while preserving product performance, compliance, and quality. </li><li>Partner closely with R&D/NBD, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Finance to assess feasibility and implement reformulation, sourcing, and process improvements. </li><li>Collaborate with Brand and Commercial teams to ensure alignment, transparency, and support for proposed changes. </li><li>Maintain a structured pipeline of opportunities and a delivery roadmap, including scenario modeling for alternative sourcing, reformulation, and manufacturing strategies. </li><li>Engage senior stakeholders across functions, support supplier engagement and negotiations as needed, and implement post-launch tracking to confirm sustained value delivery. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications/Requirements</p> <p>Must Have</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree. </li><li>Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience. </li><li>5-7 years of experience in procurement, cost optimization, or commercial negotiation roles. </li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels. </li><li>Entrepreneurial, self-driven mindset with the ability to define and manage an opportunity roadmap independently. </li><li>Advanced analytical skills to evaluate value, complexity, and execution trade-offs. </li><li>Strong project management capability and attention to detail. </li><li>Solid financial acumen, including cost modeling and business case development. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with Manufacturing, R&D/NBD, Procurement, Finance, and Brand teams. </li><li>Strong data storytelling skills to translate complex financial and technical concepts for non-technical audiences. </li><li>Proven track record of delivering structural, long-term cost transformation initiatives. </li><li>Experience in cost modeling and COGS reduction, particularly in liquids and ingredient-based categories. </li><li>Practical understanding of manufacturing processes and cost drivers. </li><li>Knowledge of manufacturing supply chains and multi-node production environments through finished goods. </li><li>Ability to identify high-value opportunities with minimal SKU and operational complexity. </li><li>Exposure to tax-efficient sourcing or cross-border supply chain design is advantageous. </li><li>Experience working within cross-functional teams. </li></ul> <p>Preferred</p> <ul> <li>Industry experience in formulation-driven or manufacturing environments such as FMCG, food & beverage, spirits, or chemicals. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Regular in-person attendance required.
