In this entry-level role, you'll work alongside experienced professionals maintaining and improving the City's water distribution system-supporting everything from daily operations to emergency response.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <p>No two days are the same. You'll be out in the field, learning by doing and contributing to essential public infrastructure:</p> <ul> <li>Assist with maintenance and repair of water mains, service lines, valves, hydrants, and meters </li><li>Help locate underground utilities and investigate leaks </li><li>Support water system flushing, pressure testing, and sampling (chlorine, iron, etc.) </li><li>Respond to customer concerns like low pressure, water quality issues, or leaks </li><li>Operate tools and equipment-from hand tools to heavy machinery </li><li>Assist with emergency repairs and 24-hour response situations </li><li>Help maintain equipment, vehicles, and accurate records </li><li>Support traffic control setups and job site safety measures </li><li>Contribute to the City's GIS system and infrastructure tracking </li></ul> <p>What You'll Learn</p> <p>This is more than a job-it's a career pathway.
