<p>Hopeful Hearts is a statewide coalition of agencies, organizations, and individuals working together to address an often-overlooked need. Supporting the romantic and social lives of individuals with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our core initiative is the development of an inclusive app that helps users build relationship skills, receive guidance and support, create a personal profile, and connect safely with potential romantic partners. What sets Hopeful Hearts apart is our emphasis on both in-app and real-world support, including facilitated connections, community engagement, and live events.</p> <p>We are seeking a work-study student to support this initiative by assisting with survey development and deployment, planning and coordinating focus groups, and conducting research on relevant grant and funding opportunities. The student will play a meaningful role in shaping how we gather feedback from individuals, families, and providers, and in identifying resources that can help sustain and scale this work statewide.</p> <p>This role is well-suited for a student interested in social impact, disability services, research, public health, psychology, social work, or nonprofit innovation. The position offers hands-on experience with coalition-based work, applied research, and early-stage program development in a mission-driven environment.</p> <p>House of Possibilities (HOPe), a nonprofit community based organization on the campus of Stonehill College, provides life-changing programs for children and adults with disabilities and their families.</p> <p>Job Requirements</p> <p>A student must have a Federal Work Study award for the 2025-2026 academic year.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must possess excellent attention to detail, communication skills, editing/reading/writing skills. </li><li>Strong analytical skills. </li><li>Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities under time restrictions. </li><li>Have experience in Google Sheets or Excel </li></ul> <p>Special Instructions to Applicants Hourly Salary 17.00 Hours 6 Contact Name Candace Shockley Contact Email c.shockley@houseofpossibilities.org Work Location 350 Washington Street, North Easton, MA Payroll Deduction Grant Deduction</p>
