<p>Hopeful Hearts is a statewide coalition of agencies, organizations, and individuals working together to address an often-overlooked need. Supporting the romantic and social lives of individuals with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our core initiative is the development of an inclusive app that helps users build relationship skills, receive guidance and support, create a personal profile, and connect safely with potential romantic partners. What sets Hopeful Hearts apart is our emphasis on both in-app and real-world support, including facilitated connections, community engagement, and live events.</p> <p>We are seeking a work-study student to support this initiative by assisting with survey development and deployment, planning and coordinating focus groups, and conducting research on relevant grant and funding opportunities. The student will play a meaningful role in shaping how we gather feedback from individuals, families, and providers, and in identifying resources that can help sustain and scale this work statewide.</p> <p>This role is well-suited for a student interested in social impact, disability services, research, public health, psychology, social work, or nonprofit innovation.
