Extend professional expertise to the community served by the college. </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li> <p>Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related field required; master's degree preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Master's degree is required to be eligible to apply for tenure. Candidates without a master's degree will be required to obtain one within a specified time.</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum of 2 years of classroom and clinical teaching experience in a CoARC accredited program required</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum of 4 years of clinical experience required</p> </li><li> <p>Active Respiratory Care Practitioners (RCP) license in the State of Ohio required</p> </li><li> <p>Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required</p> </li><li> <p>ACLS and PALS Instructor experience preferred</p> </li><li> <p>NPS credential preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Evidence of successful prior teaching experience and ability to teach in a clinical and classroom setting required</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated commitment to improving student learning through innovative strategies shown to help students succeed at the course and program level required</p> </li><li> <p>Effective communication skills and interpersonal skills with the capacity to work successfully in a culturally diverse college community required</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated skills in using modern educational technology, including multimedia-based instruction required</p> </li></ul> <p>Official transcripts for all post-secondary degrees (if applicable), confirmation of RCP license in the State of Ohio, confirmation of RRT credential and successful completion of a background check will be required prior to date of hire.</p>
