<p>The Trade Support Specialist will play a crucial role in building and managing processes from the ground up to support the entire trade lifecycle for support Optiver's newest business lines focused on credit, equities, and ETFs trading. In this role, you will work directly with the trading desks to manage trade allocations and confirmations, resolve trade breaks and fee discrepancies, and ensure the timely and accurate settlement of trades. Along with key operational responsibilities, you will partner closely with software engineers to improve the systems and tools supporting your role, identify and assess key risks, and ultimately make our operations safer and more efficient. This role requires a strong understanding of financial products, the trade and settlement lifecycle for U.S. corporate bonds, U.S. ETFs, or credit derivatives, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills.</p> <p>What you'll do:</p> <ul> <li>Provide best-in-class support for trade execution and settlement processes </li><li>Manage the full pre-and post-trade lifecycle in close collaboration with Trading, Prime Brokerage, and Compliance teams </li><li>Managing creation/redemption confirmations with PBs and issuers and supporting trade booking and settlement </li><li>Produce and distribute trade confirmations and oversee the post-trade allocation process </li><li>Work closely with our Brokerage team, Customers and Prime Brokers to reconcile fee discrepancies and ensure timely payment and escalation </li><li>Assist traders with onboarding new counterparties and platforms </li><li>Collaborate with internal Development teams, as well as third-party providers, to enhance trade workflows and service offerings </li></ul> <p>What you'll get:</p> <p>You'll join a culture of collaboration and excellence, surrounded by curious thinkers and creative problem-solvers.
