<p>Duties</p> <p>Prairie Hill Elementary School is looking for an energetic teacher to join our team as a long-term substitute beginning in August 2025. Qualified applicants would possess a passion for teaching elementary students. In addition, candidates must possess a valid Illinois Teaching or substitute certificate. Job duties may include, but are not limited to:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Actively supporting the mission of the school and district, "Students First, Always."</p> </li><li> <p>Create and maintain a safe classroom atmosphere that builds relationships with students while providing structure and routines conducive to learning.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide opportunities for all students to experience success, based upon their individual ability and potential.</p> </li><li> <p>Plan and implement lessons in accordance with the Illinois Standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Plan and implement lessons for an elective course agreed upon by the admin and teacher.
