<p>Compensation for this role: $45.00 to $55.00 per hour depending on experience</p> <p>General Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Maintain open communication lines with all working relationships </li><li>Follow up to ensure items for which the job is accountable are performed </li><li>Earn and maintain customer's trust </li><li>Uphold the core values of the organization </li><li>Work well with others to accomplish the mission of the organization and of the job </li></ul> <p>Specific Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Autodesk installation and troubleshooting, Revit family creation/customization </li><li>Computer setup and maintenance - Budget for new hardware/software as needed </li><li>Implement BIM department standards for shop drawing continuity </li><li>Provide continuing education related to VDC/BIM for the greater good of the department </li><li>Standardized onboarding of new employees </li><li>Assist in the planning, design, and development of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications </li><li>Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems </li><li>Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems </li><li>Work with Director to maintain and monitor the department budget </li><li>Stay current with new technology and techniques and create system design proposals </li><li>Develop, implement and monitor department standards, templates and software requirements </li><li>Manage all construction technology </li><li>Assist in the deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing applications </li><li>Ensure compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systems </li><li>Tracks department equipment (Hardware, software, RTS, etc.) </li><li>Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve business systems issues </li><li>Assist VDC Manager in periodic field training on software use and department capabilities </li></ul> <p>General</p> <ul> <li>General computer support </li><li>Prefabrication details </li><li>Day-to-day business </li><li>Time Sheets </li><li>Assisting VDC Manager </li><li>Project Management </li></ul> <p>Other duties as may be assigned</p> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:</p> <p>Skilled in:</p> <ul> <li>Acting as a self-starter </li><li>Working with little supervision </li><li>Customer management </li><li>Listening </li><li>Speaking intelligently </li><li>Estimating resources needed to complete required tasks </li><li>Adapting to new and changing requirements, environments, and/or information </li><li>Managing people and processes </li><li>Managing complex projects, breaking them down to their component levels </li><li>Effective written and oral communication sufficient to be able to elicit and communicate information and achieve understanding </li><li>Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with customers, vendors, consultants, management, and employees </li><li>Operating a computer </li><li>Operate Microsoft office products </li><li>Organizing work to accomplish tasks </li><li>Reading and writing </li><li>Prioritizing and reprioritizing to meet job needs </li><li>Identifying and managing risk </li><li>Problem solving </li></ul> <p>Ability to:</p> <ul> <li>Retain and access critical information from memory </li><li>Efficiently and effectively troubleshoot all AutoDesk products </li><li>Conceptually estimate and provide input on demand at design meetings </li><li>Conceptualize and visualize projects for constructability means and methods </li><li>Think on your feet </li><li>Be personally detached from ideas (no ego) </li><li>See things from multiple perspectives </li></ul> <p>REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
